Kahinumdum ka 'tung una ta nagkita?
Mingpahiyum ka nako, ug gibalsan ta sab ka.
Sama nga ninghunong ang atong kalibutan,
Ang oras wa ta na mabantayan.

Wa ko nasayod sa akong gibati,
Batyag ko lang, sige ko'g tisngi.
Ug makakita nimo, dayon pahipi-hipi,
Wa ko gyod masabti ang akong gibati.

Natinga akong mga higala,
Mura daw ko'g buang sige ug katawa.
Kinsa gu'y di malipay, nga kita nagka-istorya,
Unta mabalik pa 'tung panahona.

Apan kapalaran, di gyod ta tugotan.
Wa na kita magkita sa pila na ka buwan
Imong pahiyum akong pirmente mahinumduman,
Mapasalamaton sa katahum nga akong nasayran

Sa gamay nga panahon kita nag-uban,
Dakong bahandi kini nga akong natagamtaman.

to decipher—
the door is red, it expresses anger
I wore the red but I am empty
as I try to grasp the reality
I am alone and bathed in shame
flicking switches on and off
in the bathroom
soaking blood-stained sheets
blood is death
death is rather colorless—
a starless sky

a vacuum.
